Nguồn: Truyền thống

Myanmar · ceremony banana pudding — An ownerless traditional dessert, so no cook is credited. The cited article confirms ngapyaw baung as bananas stewed in milk, coconut milk and sugar, sprinkled with sesame or poppy seeds, and served at ceremonies because it is quick to make. Peel the bananas and cut into thick rounds.
Warm the coconut milk, milk, sugar and salt in a pan over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
Add the bananas and simmer very gently 12–15 minutes, until they are soft enough to crush against the side of the pan and the liquid has thickened to coat a spoon.
💡 Gently. Coconut milk boiled hard splits into oil and curds; kept at a shiver it stays creamy.
Crush about a third of the banana pieces into the sauce with the back of a spoon so it thickens further, leaving the rest whole.
Spoon into bowls, sprinkle with sesame, and serve warm or chilled.
